Ten Tips To Create The Perfect Family Personalized Calendar

Tip #1
When using the online order system, be sure to upload high resolution photos. Minimum required resolution is 1024 x 683 pixels. The system will let you upload smaller photos to the server, but will not let you insert them into your calendar.

Tip #2
Be creative. Try scrapbooking pages. Upload scans of your scrapbook pages or send them to us and we'll scan them. Printable area for calendar is 10" wide by 7-1/2" high. We can scan up to 11" x 8-1/2", but we will reduce to fit the photo frame.

Tip #3
If you choose to create a scrapbook calendar, choose a borderless calendar. Borders will compete with the designs on your scrapbook page.

Tip #4
Consider a jumbo calendar. The larger format makes scenic and car photos pop, and the calendar date blocks are bigger for the busy family.

Tip #5
Choose photos that are not too dark or too light. These do not print well - dark photos will appear too saturated and will lose their contrast, while light photos will appear washed out.

Tip #6
For something a little bit different, include some pages of artwork - either yours or your children's.

Proofread your dates before you hit the order button or before you mail in your kit. Be sure to get Grandma's birthday right and spell your second cousin's child's name correctly.

If you are mailing in photos, always send copies, never originals.
